ok im having a prothane shifter bushing kit installed, i know where the long bushing goes, but the short fat round dounut looking **** with the metal rod through it.. i have no damn clue as to where it goes. i kinda of have an idea but it doesnt look the same as the oem bushign.. please.. btw i have searched and have no found a good enough post that tells me where it goes

Goes on the TRANSMISSION. Youll drain your fluid though once you take the bolt that holds the shift linkage in... So, be prepared to refill your fluid.
