i was driving today and my car lost power and all but al lights still work and the dash lights all that stuff the car turns over but never like wants to start if you know what I mean. Would u think it is the ecu or what I m just tryingto get a general idea of what it might could be I believe it is the ecu or it could be a wire to the ecu cause it has done this before and wouldnt start and we messed with the wires and stuff and tapped the ecu and it started up a few minutes later. And when the car is on all the dash lights but the car isnt started yet, I would wiggle the wires the check engine light is on and then u would hear it click and then it would go off it does this alot would that beanother problem it could be the wires? give me your idea if anyone has been through this problem before?

 

did you look under your dash and check the fuse for the alternator spool valve....or the main relay?

 

yeah I checked for all the fuses and all that i dont know it just the check engine light is on but the ecu isnt cause its not blinking like it should if the check engine light is on its weird.

 

mine did that....recheck your fuses...it turned out to be the fuse for the alternator spool valve....check and recheck...get a voltmeter....
