I don't hit the secondaries every day, but I usually get er in VTEC at least once daily. I drive pretty normally usually.

Personally i have been driving normally for a while cuz of my new job is kind of far away and my hook up for tickets is away so the car is in daily driver mode.

I shift at around 3000 normally. I let the teg make some noise once in a while when the engine is nice and warm, though

In between shifts I take it up to about 3000-3500 and get decent mileage.

depends....if i see some *** turd tail gaiting me, or ricer thats trying to rev on me, of course i'll drop it down a gear, let them hear my VTAAAAK and get away from them. Then again, there's other days when I see that gas prices are going back up, then I shift below 4k and drive like an old lady.

BUT OF COURSE, when i'm getting on the freeway, I have to take it up....its only necessary

same as most folks it seems. normal driving with shifting at 3k-4k on the streets.

on the hwy tho i get on her a lil bit...lol. this isn't counting the occasional run when a next car rolls up on you, tho what's the point in having these cars if we don't have fun with them from time to time...

you cant drive more than 1 minute in my city wihout seeing a cop. and im not joking. luckily ive gotten my fill for speed and i dont really think i wanna speed until i get a turbo.

i was lucky that when i got my teg and license back when i was 17 that there was barely any cops in my city cause i would redline my car every 2 mins....

but now theres too many cops. i just shift at 4k rpms... i shift really high cause i have a type r trans and if i shifted at the right rpms i would be in 5th gear by the time i made it across an intersection from a dead stop.

i drive normally everyday; getting 30 mpg is great when gas is between 2-3 dollars. a couple times a week ill do a first or second gear pull just for the hell of it.

LOL! i saw a crane truck make a left turn thru an intersection from a dead stop; he was in 7th gear by the time the truck straightened out

This how I drive my gsr.... I slowly drive her out of the garage late on a Friday or Saturday night... its got to be dry out cause my car is scared of the rain and it need to stay clean... I take it around the block making sure to warm it up slowly, then I head for the highway... as soon as I'm on the on ramp the pedals to the floor.... 5300 rpm baaaa vtec kicks in 1st, 2nd, 3rd my B17/ctr never falls out of vtec (vafc make sure of that)...It puts a big smile on my face...it pulls nice for an NA.... I cruise around doing a few hard pull here and there for about 1hour maybe 1-1/2 to a few of my fav. roads, maybe give her a quick rinse to clean off the dust and then its back home... back into the garage for at least a week min most of the time even more.... it's winter and rainy now so that's it for a while...

I drive mine pretty hard, but its cause I almost never drive it... so it's like a release for me

I never do this in my Acccord, it's my daily so it's driven. As for my Civic, I get on it every once in a while, nothing excessive though.

i rarely go a day without going into the secondaries. it's just too much damn fun, especially with the short-ram on there. i shift around 4k most of the time, and wind it up a few times every time i drive it.
