which wire is parking lights?
Anyone know which wire, under the dash, in a 99 accord sedan that energizes when the parking lights are turned on. I figure the alarm nutz would know this I need it for the indiglo dash lights. I don't feel like shaving or tapping all the wires to figure it out on my own.
I found the bundle with the green/black, a couple blue and other wires already, just don't know which wire in that bundle to use. Thanx for any advice.

for my indiglo dash I soldered the power wires onto a + and a - solder spot that was already on the circuit board behind the dash and it worked pretty good if ya dont wanna go with the parking lights
I want it to go with the parking light, it was wiring to the radia acc meaning any time the key was in Acc/run the dash was lit. I've removed the underdash bracket and installed the blue/green switch and dimmer control for the indiglo into one of the blank squares on the left side of dash. Regrounded the unit, just looking for the right +12 source.
Just for info of others that might one day wander the same question I had. I found a pin in the inner side of the left fuse panel, think it was t3 or something (it was just below the 2 pin plug jack.) That one appears to energize when the parking lights are on like I was looking for.
Even easier. Auto-Zone.. add a circuit kit. plug it into your parking lights fuse and solder your indiglo gauge power cable to the lead coming off it. nothing permanent. and you have a seperate fuse.
