nope, have not seen them, but it reminds me of those frame locks that used to go in the front to keep the frame stiff... from what I remember, they worked excelent, way better than front upper shock bars... but these things, are not them in any way... looking at it, not being a solid large piece.. Im gonna say probably not all that useful. Don't take my word for it though.

I could see it beeing somewhat safe if the bar was welded down, but those screws look to be pretty small. Logically it would seem they would just rip out in the event such as an accident.

Back in the day, Bennen made a strong bar to replace the front bumper support(it was solid). Wonder if they will release one again.

I think this is a race only mod. Its to save weight, and tie the frame together like the bumper supports, but less weight. I would never use these on the street, cuz it wont withstand any accidents

i've seen people do stuff like this to reduce weight fast and cheap. not recommended. no support in accidents, and doesn't really too hot.

wtf if your in an accident, either you die and your car is toast or you walk away and your car is toast.

and if its a stupid fender bender it ruins a lot of structural components anyway.

either way, if your in an accident, YOUR CAR IS TOAST! id rather get a modification that helps me avoid accidents. not ones that protect me in an accident, in that case id be installing airbags all throughout the cabin!

all it needs is a "type-r" and its 30hp easy bolt on!

even a squrrel will be afraid of this when he slams into your front bumper at 10mph!

this isnt directed at you, but everyone who came in here saying those bars offer no support in an accident. Here is some breaking news for you; your factory bar is designed to withstand impacts of less than 15 mph, anything higher and it just crumples.

You are just as prone with those things than with the big hunk of metal.

I would have to agree, the car looks like a track car due to the exhaust and all.

It's just body braces for your car. I seen some on a toyota corolla on import tuner and they had those braces.

Look at the size of the radiator...
and the ride height.

Couldn't you leave the stock crumple brace things and ad the stabilizer bar and have both the benefit of a body with less flex and the 15mph 5 star saftey front impact bs?

i'm not saying it's definative proof i'm just saying you could conclude based on relevant evidence that this could possibly be a track car. i know peope slam their buckets come on now
