03 CR-V transmission
I have an 03 CR-V with the auto tranny. The manual recomends the drain and fill method for flushing but my dad is a tranny specialist for a different manufacurer told me I could remove the lines at the radiator and pump it out that way.
Has anyone here ever tried that on their Honda. I posted this question on another Honda board and the thought it could be very harmful to the tranny.
I know what Honda recomends but as long as there is enough fluid being poured in as it is pumping, I don't see a problem in doing it this way.
Suggestions?
Thanks!

when i did the fluid changes on my mom's crv (03), i drained it through the drain plugs. because of the angle of those hoses, it will be a pain to pump all the fluid out. just use the drain hole, thats what it is for
