Default eg hatch w/ stock ls.../// 12.50@108

Whats up guys...Got around to doing some track time this weekend...I only got the one run in on friday night and that was it!! I went back on sat for a test and tune only to find out there was a event, and only got 1321 feet of racing in..The first run was a 13.0 missing 2nd and 3rd (busted *** tranny) and the second run I traveled all of about a foot due to a broken axle... My current setup is a bone stock ls swap w/ a revhard cast iron log mani/ precision sc60 (.60/.48), 2 1/2" d.p./exhaust.....Not too bad I guess..

Yes, it was on slicks and the 60ft was 1.70 on the dot!! Needless to say it hooked nice, so nice that on sat I went back down and broke an axle on my second run...I was pissed, because I upped the boost to 12 psi in search of some better times...

I think I'm on the other half of your 13.0 timeslip...

I was the Gray Regal T-type in the left lane that you spanked the first half of the track.

I had my nosed buried under your hood earlier in the eve...

Anything with a turbo catches my attention...

I was impressed with your car, that's what brought me to this site...
I will be lurking in the shadows trying to figure out how you guys get those lil cars to run so well...
Might save me some embarrassment next time I street race one of you guys...

Yeah, its hard to build a street car to keep up with these little jap turds huh?? My car is lightly modified compared to most these days..Its cool you are checking out these types of fourms though...I used to own a ton of domestics and swore I would never buy let alone modify a honda, but hang around here long enough and you will see how cheap, easy, and reliable you can make these cars...Dont ever rule out buying one either, you never know... I got about 4 grand wrapped up in my car from head to toe thats including the motor swap, turbo, even the car itself!!! It ran 12.5 on 10 psi of boost, and in its current state (13 psi) I am sure it will go 12.0s w/ no problem, and I have old school engine management in my car........
Well have fun on here, you can learn alot!! And remember, I am not trying to get you to buy a honda now, but you would be amazed with the engineering in these things.....
P.S., you have a cool ride by the way...I always have digged gn's, especially t-types... later....

Hehe... Re-read my spanked comment... I think you mis-read my remark.
I was clearly giving you the credit for handing me my *** for the first half of the track.

My car is still pretty stock except for a big turbo that spools really slow with the stock torque converter. I have a 100shot of Nitrous on the car, and have gone 11.15 @ 121 with it already. Best motor runs are 12.20's-12.30's so far, with 2.0+ 60fts. It's a real pooch on the line... I need better brakes so I can launch with more boost. The mph is usually 112-114 so it should be a mid/high-11 car with a decent converter.

Believe me... Coming from mid-8 second Camaros, it's serious culture shock to see a Honda in front of me on the dragstrip.
I need to step-up my game in this Regal or I'm 'gonna have to go back to BBC Camaros...

Good job with the Honda... It's impressive.

Hey, like I said its all in fun....I really wish my tranny wasnt acting up though...That should of been a 12.0 run....
Do you tune your t-type yourself???What are you using for engine management??

Right now the Regal is my budget build... I've only got about $7k into it at the moment. It's a far cry from what I use to play with, but it's alot more affordable and alot more fun to drive on the street.
I can still drive it back and forth to work, get 25mpg, and blip off a low 11 with a bottle of juice in the trunk.

Not sure If I could ever get "into" a Honda, but I'm still impressed with how fast you guys make them scoot...

Nice chattin with ya...

At 10 psi, I would probably say around 240whp or so....If you want to get more serious in drag racing, I would reccomend switching from that b16 trans to an ls one..
