A) were they ever avalible before 1996 with power locks?
yes. on most SI and VTEC models from 94 up. my 95 SI has them. the S models don't typically come with power locks or power side mirrors.

B) what is the button that resides beside the aux lights?
that would be the cruise control switch (powers the module on/off)

C) where can i get a set of the "map lights" for the door handles?
there is a set for sale on automotivetech.org in the classifieds section

D) Which Intake will fit the engine bay properly?
as far as I know, a CAI should be specific to the sol, and a short-ram will probably fit if it's either for a civic or del sol.

E) will an axel back from an EG hatch match our exhaust setup?
i don't know. i always have my exhausts custom made.

F) what is our stock wheel offset?
i don't know. usually somewhere between +35 to +45 has been my experience.

G) is there an internal trunk release avalible?
yes. it has a separate pull mechanism and a cable that run to the trunk.

H) do eg' front lips fit the delsol (1993)
they can if they are made to. a good body shop could do this.

GO HERE:

there is an abundance of info on sols on automotivetech.org and it has a dedicated sol forum. good luck with your sol.

also check out

That's Kelly's site. He has part numbers for various sol parts you might be looking for, and an abundance of parts for sale as well.

cruise control & power locks wasn't a factory option in 93, but it could've been included. trunk release parts can be had off of any 95+ Del Sol, dunno about the DIY but the honda factory manual shows you how to install & remove it

Yes, my '93 sol has cruise in it...works like crap but that's another thing altogether. I haven't heard of any clearance problems for any intakes for the D16. All the latches have provision for a remote release option. I should have said the remote trunk and electric locks became standard in '95 but were optional in '93 and '94. You can use a civic remote but the wire will run long so you will have to loop it or cut it down. An aftermarket electronic one with an alarm would work best.

No. The damn ashtray in the console do have a propensity to break though.
