---Help--- No VTEC,Speedometer,and CEL. 92 Civic Si w/ B16 OBD1 ECU

Well today my car wants to give me problems. No VTEC,Speedometer,and CEL is on.

What could cause this? I have a JDM B16 Motor and the car is obd1.

Please help me out

check your vehicle speed sensor, and fuse. This happened to me when my VSS harness had a short. Your VSS is located on the tranny behind near the tranny mount

I will do that...is the VSS a plug or what? Also why would this throw a code and VTEC not to kick in??

my speedo went out on me too. i was told that the vtec wont engage when a your CEL is on for your speedo.

i dont know wat happend but one day i guess it fixed itself. i was about to buy a new VSS that day too..........gave me a

the cel is from the speed sensor and your vtec wont work when your speedo doesnt work so fix the speed sensor and then your vtec will work and your cel will go off too !
