EM1 Owners: Whats the best exhaust?
Ive had my em1 for almost a year now and the exhaust is still stock. Its hella loud in vtec with my aem sri and i dont want it much louder. Ive looked high and low for a decent exhaust system thats not hella jdm and overpriced. DC and greddy are both looking good. Ive also had my eye on one from tannabe. Buddy club looks good too. Its so confusingWhat do you guys think? Also...is it worth it to buy an entire catback system or should I just buy a muffler and have the rest fabbed up?

If you dont want it much louder than it already is I get an Apexi ws2, its a good system and much quieter than a N1, I had on on my GSR and I Liked it

WS2 sounds like the only option for you. If you think your intake already loud enough you definatly dont need anything louder than WS2. Greddy evo and the DC are prob gonna be loud a hell unless its a twin loop DC.
i just purchased my greddy evo2 for my em1. i was expecting something loud and deep... but its not loud. not loud at all. my friend has a type-s with a skunk2 and that **** sounds like an airplane. you cant really hear the evo2 except for a little deep rumble. the finish is top notch. stainless steel. excellent fitment! very comfortable noise level inside the car. the tip is HUGE though. ill try to get some pics up.

injen SRI
greddy evo2 exhaust
not annoying at all. just subtle deep rumble when you blip the throttle

does vtec get pretty loud in the evo2???? i know my friend had the mugen twin loop and you couldnt even tell when vtec engaged.. now he has some magnaflow **** and vtec pops hard...
A few of my friends have evo2's on their integra GSRs..Its not that loud but it still has a good tone with a stock cat....but its really really loud on the gsr that has a test pipe..Almost as loud as my Apexi N1 w/ test pipe.

If not, EVO or SP2 like everyone else has mentioned.</TD></TR></TABLE>
What about the OBX twinloop? How is that compared to the Mugen exhaust?

this isn't the first thing you think of but a borla or magnaflow mufflers are both quit when u want it but have a nice tone when u get on it. Just go to your local exhaust place and have them make you some 2.25inch catback exhaust and have them weld the muffler on also magnaflow has alot of options as far as tips go. you can make it stock lookin or after market. If its still 2 load throw a silencer or a resinator in there.
