Default b18c into ek throttle cable 2 short?

im almost done with my swap...a 97 jdm b18c-R into my 96 civic dx.

for all those that swapped a b-series into an 96-00 ek, did u use ur stock throttle cable?

my car is a 96 DX and my throttle cable seems to be too short...i tried adjusting it but it still seems to b to short.

i connected it to the throttle but since its too short it keeps the throttle body open about a 1/4 at all times.

therefor the car will constantly be at 1/4 throttle because the cable isnt long enough for the throttle to go back to normal rest position.

anyone else have this problem? do i have to swap the DX throttle cable for a 99-00 civic si cable, since they came with a b-series from the factory?

any input would be great as i am going to finish up tom hopefully

You can either get a throttle cable from a hype-r, OR you can do it like it was done on my car....
Ugly as hell but it works until you get that Hype-R bracket
