the blue jdm plates have the DC2 chassis codes right? Yes (DC4-for the 4dr) Yes

Now in jdm land whats the difference bewteen TYPE Si VTEC and TYPE SiR-G?

In the U.S.A. we have the SE/RS/LS/GS/GSR/ and TYPR-R models!

Which is which? Im thinking its the GSR model the correlates w/ the Si VTEC/Sir-G?

i dont think DC4 really means 4dr...my vin for my old teg was 4DC4 sumthin...and it was an LS

 

DC2=GSR
DC4=LS
DB8=4 dr GSR
DC5-RSX

 

the JDM Si VTEC is the equivalent of the GSR (2door)
JDM Si-G is 4 door model of above
JDM SiR is the face lift model with the straight lights (2door)
SiR-G is the four door model of the above SiR
DC1 integras are JDM 1.6L models (ZX and ZXi)

Ok when the integra (G3) began production in japan it was called the SiVTEC and had the same light set up as the USDM G3 Integras. then in 1996 honda changed the lights to the straight one piece lights, they are not just found on ITR's but also the JDM SiR. They added the R onto Si in 1996 to signify the different front end.
So JDM SiVTEC's are the same as USDM GSR's, JDM SiR VTEC's have one piece straight lights as do JDM TypeR's.

so....for the 1996 and up face lift is

SiR= 2DR

SiR-G= 4DR

basically add the daymn G and its a 4-dr..right?

2 door JDM DC2's is SiR ONLY and 4 door JDM DC2's is SiR-G only for the 96 and up facelift JDM straight one-piece projector headlights?

Reason why I asked is my friend bet me $50 for this DAYMN QUESTION!

CORRECT add G for 4 door. Add R for straight one piece lights..eg SiR-G= 4Door with straight one piece lights
