antena install? (i searched)
Ok so i know the process of replacing my broken antenna on my 99 civic. However, I have a question that none of the other post or instructions i have read cover, that is, do i have to remove all the paneling as when a replacement of radio is done or can i reach the antenna lead under the dash without any removal of panels?

When I did mine I just took of the A Pillar cover, and worked from there. You could remove the drivers side kickplate but you dont have to. It would make it easier.
why did you remove your A pillar if its unnecessary (i Think)? doesnt the antenna lead run through a different hole in the car? My A pillar is out anyways (since they painted my car) but i didnt see the lead in the pillar.

Its been awhile, but I think there was a small access hole in the A-pillar we used to make sure the wire didnt get caught. I think we might have even made our own hole. Didnt matter because the antenna had the leak proof gasket.
