Im about 99.99% sure that spoon has a b-pipe, its JDM length, so modifying hte cat is required, not sure aobut the apexi.
Personally, I'd go spoon just for the bling and not so large muffler diameter.
plus its lighter weight then the apexi.

Spoon does have a b-pipe, but just like the axle back its costly. I am quite fond of the spoon setup though, in performance, exhaust note, and the low profile of the exhaust. It doesnt look like some grapefruit cannon like some of the tanabe mufflers; rather it has a rather minimalistic look with good gains.

Get a Spoom N1 w/ a Apex`i b-pipe. Thaz my combo. You'll want to remove the bottle neck at the end of the flange. Some have them, some don't...mine did....

Thats weird.....I went from the Apexi N1 to the Spoon N1 and the Spoon was much quieter. It sounds beautiful but definetly not as loud as the Apexi.
As far as more high end hp........i felt no difference up top (especially because the Apexi was such a free flowing exhaust to begin with) but felt a small increase in low and mid range torque.
I'm soon to add a test pipe so the Spoon N1 can really scream!
P.S T1R b-pipe and Spoon axle back....enjoy
