Default how not to do a 2000 civic front end conversion

this car was stolen. i purchased it from the kid who did the "conversion" they f-ed up the car so bad they were lucky that they did not wreck it, they cut all of the welds off of the old core support and bolted the bumper support over the new core support and that was it, if i said that they did a hack, bs, terrible and unsafe job i would be paying them a compliment because it could not have gotten any worse than what they did to this car. i will get pics up this week on how not to do this conversion

IF YOU CUT YOUR FACTORY CORESUPPORT OUT, YOU MUST WELD ON YOUR NEW CORE SUPPORT. IT IS NOT AN OPTION. IT IS NOT A BOLT ON PART OR CONVERSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, that is the car that i bought this weekend.
so have you ever seen a radiator support that is smashed that was never welded?
they didn't even use self tapping screws, you give them too much credit. the only thing holding the core support to the car was the 2 bumper support bolts on either side. there wasn't anything holding the top of the upper tie bar other than the 1 bolt that holds the fender to the upper tie bar. i kept the radiator support, the kid looked at me funny when i picked it up and threw it in the back of the truck, i'll take some pictures this week, not a hole in it to be welded, kinda makes your stomach turn thinking that this car was on the road. not only was it unsafe for him but , what if he had hit someone?

NrG feel free to post your pic in this thread i will post up some pics in the next couple of days.
