i kno its not hard core n/a or anything but if any1 could help me out, i'd be very greatfull..

would i gain a great deal of hp, if any, putting a skunk2 intake manifold and itr throttle body on a gsr motor with jus intake and exhaust? with a tune up of corse...

a couple of my buddies say i will and a couple say i wont gain s**t, so i thought i'd ask the pro's, so what do u think guys?

also... would a JG Victor-X intake manifold be overkill on a particly stock gsr motor evan with a tune up??

I'd say wait until you get a good header and cams...but it's your money

 

you might want to look into an AEBS intake manifold.
the JG might be a little much for your setup.

i wouldnt expect much more that 10whp with the addition of intake manifold/throttlebody on your setup. so you have to figure out if it is worth the money to you.

maybe somebody has a dyno comparison on a 1.8L, i dont know if i've ever seen one on a stock engine.

 

thanks for the replys guys, the main resion i ask is because i also need a new intake, i want a aem cold air but dont wanna spend all that money gettin a b18c1 eg hybrid intake jus to change it a new months down the like when i upgrade my intake manifold.

any1 else have any thoughts on the matter?

 

I would get ITR cams before i bought an IM and TB.
