I have a 88 crx si with a d16z6. Heres my problem. Off and on for a while the tranny has been acting up. Like grinding into third, reverse and stuff like that. Sometimes it will be fine for like a week. But now, lets say I roll up to a stop light in neutral and come to a complete stop at the light, its VERY hard to get it in first gear. So ive been putting it in first while im rollin like 1 mph because then it goes in fine. Then I parked in my driveway and left my car running and tried to shift it into first with no luck. Then I turned the car off and I can shift into any gear with great ease. I restarted the car and still can't put it in first. Any opinions of what this could be would be highly appreciated. Sounds like it might have something to do with something that becomes pressurized while the car is running. Thanks in advance.

dude check the bearing on the flywheel.my friend had the same symptoms on his.he ended up blowing the clutch apart.it fell apart in the tranny case and shattered into like 40 pieces.not cool.

 

Try adjusting your clutch cable.

 

Yeah I'm gonna try adjusting it tomorrow and see if that helps.
