Racing harness on an EK Civic?? Possible??
I have and EK civic w/ Del sol seats. Is it possible to put in racing harnesses, and if so what modifications would I need. I want to do this because I plan on getting a steering wheel w/o an airbag.
only put in harnesses if you have a roll-bar/cage. if you dont, have fun trying to live if your car flips. and a harness bar doesnt count.

No one can tuck their head out of the way during a high speed roll over if the roof crushes in. NO ONE CAN!!!
Well i'd like to think i atleast have a chance for my head not to be ripped off, but that's just my opinion. Do what you want, it's your life not mine. Just giving people a safety tip. LAter............
you have no room to maneuver if you are secured with a 4+ point harness. ever see the picture of that M3 that flipped at Summit Point? the roof was on the same level as the doors. if they were wearing harness's without a cage they would be dead for sure, instead they walked away. i mean, if you want to recommend doing something that could possibly harm someone or cause their death, go right ahead, but i would rather err to the side of being safe.

well with reclinable seats it is a diffferent story too...
harness+bucket seats (not reclinable) +NO rollbar = trouble. yer toast.
harness+stock seats+NO rollbar = hmmm, could be trouble, may not be death.
harness+fixed seats+rollbar=pure, safe, driving heaven.
I love my Sparcos, autopower rollbar and schroth harnesses...
