Ok, I went to the track and it said I was running 1.5" times every run and it said I was getting shitty *** reaction times. So I realized that the laser must be mounted too high. I watched the video later and realized that I was right. Well I ran a 8 something @ 77.6 mph Does anyone know or have a guess of what I might run at a real track with correctly mounted lasers? Cuz I know the trap is right since the 60" has nothing to do with it. Also does anyone know what I might run on a 1/4 mile track? I put down 222whp @8k and 190wtq. Im on 205 street tires. Its a '92 civic hatch back. Weight is about 2300ish. And I get traction until top of 2nd and 1st depending on how aggressive I launch the car.
The car is a turbo B18B1 w/ a t3/t4 turbo...
Thanks

my 1/8 is 8.29 @ 86.37
my 1/4 is 12.88 @ 106.89
that's NA, so you should do better in the 1/4 compared to the 1/8 compared to me.
and the height of the lazers does not matter if they are all at the same height.
they're tracking "the first part of your car that breaks a lazer at x inches above the ground"
this part is going to break every lazer when the nose of your car is the same distance past it.
two cars lined up at the starting box might be a few inches off nose-to-nose, but the one starting further back will end further back.
and what the hell does "I was running 1.5" times every run" mean?

The 92 GT is probably a mustang,
You car woul dbe in the mid 13's most likely with that ET and MPH in the 1/8. The height of anything has less than nothing to do with anything else though. It could be shooting from the top to the bottom of your car and it would still be accurate as all that matters is whether your car breaks the beams or not.

Yes its a mustang gt 5.0...
And the lasers have to be screwing up my times like crazy. The staging lights both stay on until the back of my car goes past the lasers. And I meant 1.5 60' Thats how I knew the lasers had to be screwed up since Im on 205 street tires and I should be getting more like a 2.1-2.2 60'
But I was thinking I should run mid 13's with the power I've got. Ill check around to see if maybe I could go to another 1/8 mile track or even a 1/4 mile track before they close down. Thanks
