Personally I don't think they do anything. I wouldn't want to have them on in the event of a front end collision either. There was another thread about these, it might have been in the suspension forum. I got into an argument with someone about the front end collision thing. You can make arguments either way, but I have never seen anything official.

Wasent there just a thread about these things? If I remember corectly the majority was in that thread they serve no purpose.

No purpose, that's what i'm thinking... But if cusco makes a set... that's what would make me think cause' I don't think that Cusco would make crap or pointless parts...

There was an article in Honda Tuning, about a year ago. They installed these on a EK(coupe), and the before and after driver said that there was a noticble difference. But suspension parts feed off of each other, so i imagine it would be different for each car, based on sus. mods.

Looks like all hype to me. Who knows if they ACTUALLY improve handling. I'm willing to bet no one has really statistically tested them.

possibly they would be of use on hard hard hard cornering like say autocross or roadracing, but just like whippin around backroads and **** will all that potholes and how bumpy those roads are i don't see a huge noticeable differance with a piece like that, but who knows, i'll try to make some soon and see what i can come up with

Guess you haven't seen their horrible, unsafe, & absolutely stupidly designed cages.....
There is no definitive info on them yet. There has yet to be anyone that actually tested them on a track or autocross course. Lots of people have run the same course or track before and after and say they do help & they do nothing but without the same conditions (i.e. same day as close as possible in time) there's nothing to learn. Theoretically, they could help but it would not be a huge improvement if anything was gained at all.

I'm sure they help, how much I dont know, and will it overstress the chassis and maybe make something else wear? Who knows.
