smelled like gas.. started car motor got on fire..
the whole day i drove around and it smells like gas was leaking but i thought it was only a lil.. but i was also rippin it at the same time.. turned it off for like 3 minutes and then started the car and went into reverse.. kaboom.. fire...

Open the hood, you can probaly tell where its leaking, start at the fuel filter and check the line going into it from the firewall, check the fuel hose to the fuel rail and see if your injector o rings arent on their last leg.

Did you read anything the guy above you posted? If you're going to ask a question, at least read the responses, otherwise you deserve to have your motor explode.
Do what the guy above you said. Check for fuel leaks all around the motor, such as the fuel filter/lines. Also, pull your fuel rail and see if any of the injectors have bad o-rings, which would definately cause a fuel leak.

you could have a lot worse problems now. How long did it burn for? Was it just a flash fire and the died? You could of burnt up part of the wire harness, other hoses, all sorts of stuff.
You need to open up the hood and relly inspect everything. Try to figue out where the gas was leaking from, see where the fire burned, and what it damaged. You might of got luckey and just burnet up the area that it was leaking from.
