EG b16
I'm trying to search as much as possible but still having trouble figuring out so please bear with me. I just bought this car and wanna replace the GC coilovers. I've notice alot of praise on GC. IMO they suck ***. Can't raise the car for winter b/c spring seat is stuck and screw is threaded. I've seen GC do similar things on other cars (like sleeve getting stuck on shock).
Anyways, now I'm thinking of replacing with H&R sports springs. Got some Tokico Illuminas shocks on there right now. The car is a daily driver. No auto-x'ing or drag racing. I wanna smooth ride. I hate bouncing around, but would still prefer stiffer than stock suspension. So now I'm looking for feedback if I should be concerned with the spring rate since for a b16 swap. I'm new to this and been trying to read up. Got any recommendatons for other springs based on my situation? At one point I was interested in full coilovers, but decided on the "save $$ route".
I'm looking to increase the ride height a little more (see pic) for wintertime. Currently I got some si rims with bigger tires on there right now so they are rubbing.

I can just purchase some H&R's for $200 or less.
