I just bought a 1995 Honda Acord LX and i want to get some new rims and tires but ive been looking around and im not sure what my limits are on size.

Can someone give me a range for the sizes, im looking 16-17 inch rims.

My friend has some rims and the size are (195/60R15) I have no idea what that means, will they fit my car?

 

That's almost factory size

 

16in will look tiny as hell, 17 will look a lot better. go look on tirerack.com, wheelsnext.com, and wheelmax.com, all of them have a lot of wheel and tire packages.
if i remember right my 17s were wrapped in 205/40/17, i now have 18 and i think they look a lot better than the 17. my 18 are in 225/40/18

So those rims i listed should fit my accord and not mess with my spedometer?

I dont plan on racing it i just want it to look nice because i plan on selling it in a few years to get a new civic or accord.

Those look like they will fit. They are kinda ugly though if you ask me.

 

195/60/15 IS factory size for EX wheels. I have them on my car now and they do not mess up the speedometer.

 

What About 215/45R 17

Will those be to big?

 

be wary of getting real low profile tires, as they cost alot and tend to go flat rather easily over potholes and other rough roads.

Will those fit my accord, yes i know they are celica rims, but oh well.

 

If you want it to be worth more when you sell it, get some Honda (oem) wheels. Aftermarket wheels will not, in most cases, enhance the resale value of your car.

 

I just realized that those rims are 5 lug and mine are 4, expletive.
