no spark...mpfi swap
check for continuity between certain terminals of the ignition switch. the terminals are in the honda manual http://www.honda.co.uk/owner/CRXManual/
thanks , really check that site out good. Also what i noticed is that the white/black wire from the 50amp fuse goes to the bat-a.....then the black.yellow wire from starter.......goes to the coil....and when I had the ignition swtich to the setting before the starter engages...the wire that comes comes from a plug on the starter....was not showing any power...then again the coil only gets power on ignition 1 mode..so.....maybe that is sort of related..but i will do more checking as i know im getting closer

OK I figured out the wiring issue, it was very stupid and i dont wanna mention it yet until everything is fine.
But now the car starts but still revs (WITH THE THROTTLE CLOSED) up to 5500rpm by itself
I blocked off a few vacuum lines off the TB but nothing, same reving. I am looking for some bolt holes on the manifold now that might have vacuum passages or something. I cant really find and unplugged hoses..but im sure its Gottta be a big one if it can rev to 5500 rpm +.
What in the world else could it be....IM positive someone had to of had this happen before...anyone?????

make sure u didnt forgret any hoses. i almost forgot the brake booster hose. also did u get a new IM gasget? if not thats your problem. it's only like $8 at napa. also ceck the FIV is not shorted or unplug it and check the TB and EACV gasgets.
YUP!!!!it was the intake manifold gasket and NEVER INSTALL THE MANIFOLD BRACE first because you will get the biggest vacuum leak in history...always install the manifold first and have all the bolts tight....then elongate the 2 bottom holes of the rear brace and then try your best to install it...
