Default Question about TB and IM

I have a edelbrock TB and for sometime now when i decide to push the car a little the rpms get stuck and it takes awhile for it to get back to normal.

my question is can it be because i have a stock manifold and there is too much air trying to get in the IM.

the motor is a b18c and the butterflies arent working.(correct me if im wrong)
if this is the problem i will get the edelbrock IM and be happy.

fix the butterflies man....its been shown that pinning those things open hurt the cars performance....on a bolt on gsr...and if the rpms arent falling instantly after you let off the throttle...check the TB itself...see if its not seizing up or hard to move in some places...and check the TB cable itself
