Start a Savings account and put the money into something that actually makes a difference in your life

Or do a sick suspension setup.

You can find a JDM R tranny on ebay for $999 plus shipping (96 spec) or a 98 spec for $1200...or you can even pick up an SI tranny for cheaper than that. (SI has same final gear as USDM ITR and 96 spec JDM ITR, just no LSD)

IMHO its not worth the money to buy an ITR tranny, I mean do you really think your car is fast? is it a drag car?
There are much better things to spend the money on. Like a DP on a new car or save it and invest it , turn it into 3 G then at least you wont be throwing money down the tube.

If you are set on spending your money on your car, buy some suspension, or handling upgrades. an LSVTEC is already an investment Id just learn to be happy with what you got.

seriously, he is asking how to spend some extra cash on car parts....because he is an enthusiast. if everyone who wanted to get some go fast goodies instead saved ALL of their money for a rainy day, the hobby and culture would die. if you cant support and respect other peoples decisions on how to spend their money (as long as they are not extremely outlandish) then log off. end of story.

Go with a b16 tranny and the rest of the money by some ctr pistons for your ls block. By the way what Rpm do you redline your ls/vtec.

youll get nowhere w/that car if you keep the stock exhaust on there

wow. i just noticed that

with the winter months coming up, i would stash some more cash and then get everything you need for spring. there is nothing like walking into your room and seeing a pile of brand new go fast goodies in the corner
