I have a 94 Accord EX VTEC, and for some reason when im at a stop and Its time to go IT takes forever for my car go from 2nd to 3rd than 4th gear. I press the pedal gentley and still takes a while, sometimes i floor it a bit and the car doesnt go that fast then boom the gears change. Is it just a old transmission or should I just flush and change the trans. Fluid? The car runs great. and vtec engages pretty nice. SO help.

 

Did you check the fluid drain plug? Is the magnet full of metal shavings? Try flushing it out maybe that will help. If it's not too far gone. Flushing it means changing it 3 times. Running it for a short distance between each change.
