a shop will almost never be as cheap as a person doing on there own, shops have to much overhead to pay for.

well then why not just tell me where you got your work done bro? Thats a start for me anyway. I called (and went to about 10 different shops around here) and the cheapest I found is like $450. Thats just for painting a bumper and fender. Seems a little steep. And I dont have that much cash anyway.
Thanks for the help

$550 for a paintjob like u described from the rear? kinda expencive, and lifetime warranty on the paint is nothing special... PPG offers it anytime you use there paint no matter what shop does it.

this is what it looked like when i bought the car

both side were fixed with new metal and the part where the bumper meets the quarters were also fixed on both sides and the rear bumper/rear quarters were resprayed..shame on me for paying so much There just a small shop here in madison,i wouldnt have them do bodywork on a show car or anything, but for the beater, they did a great job

Bring it to MATC in Madison, and talk to Rod or Harley. They do work for cost.

I know a guy (importelegante) who used to work at a very high-end shop (Tom's Autobody) who paints huge trucks now. He painted his previous integra he put a JDM frontend on, came out very nice (sold it before 100% complete). He has a big garage he made into a paintbooth for it. PM him about it, I think he always likes extra cash. He also does welding with his neighbor's tig and mig.

btw he's around Delafield, WI (west of Waukesha)
