not dealing with roll pin
hey, since i cannot remove that bitch pin and i cannot get a wrench on the through nut that holds the shift linkage to the shifter, is it possible to drop the transmission without bending the shift rod?can i keep all shift linkage in place when i do it?
This doesn't answer your question directly, but I remove the bitch pin with an air chisel and a machined pin type punch on the end of it. You could grind an over the counter air chisel tool if you took the time to fit.

8mm air chisel works better.
