Anyone seen a nice set of slicks for a 92 civic. I want something that looks nice and I could drive around on the street for some $$ races...

The car has gone a best of 10.6 (spinning) @ 138mph in the 1/4.

Also too what would be the best size slick?

I would think you would want to keep some like that to track but if you care to risk it go ahead. I tried my 26's out on the streets and they felt real good. I would think with axle upgrade and that kind of power 24.5 to 26's would be awesome out of the whole on street. Good suspension plays a big factor in it as well.

Lenso rims 13x8; M&H slicks 25x8.7x13...these would be nice

Lenso's are nice if you want to order something inexpensive.

It's possible we ran 10.1 at 105 at pomona nhra final, but we had to shut it off due to no license anyhow, Bogart and m&M should do you fine. we ran 9s with them. I don't know about driving it on the street and racing for money though

same **** i was thinking from the get-go.... i just didnt want to waste my time typing it out, so i just had to say.... "OK."

 

I would roll a 10 second civic to race fools on the street. Jency does it up his way for sure. In my book thats a down *** racer and it pays for some of his racing im sure. You got to do what you got to do to get to the track when your poor.

 

this guy runs 10.6@138 and doesnt know what size slicks to use?...that means he's running 10's on street tires?...hahahaha...anyways, running a 10.6@138 is possible, my bro ran a 10.6@132...with slicks of course...
