wheel bearing question
so i need to replace my front wheel bearing but i was just wondering if i should grease it first. well the machine shop is going to do it for me should they grease it? how would you even take the dam thing apart? haha i tried to pull it apart with my hands but it just doesnt work
. should i just leave it up to the machine shop to grease? or does it not even need to be greased up at all? TIA

take out the dust shield and press it out using a hydraulic press. comes right out. </TD></TR></TABLE>
that would be nice if i had one in my garage
. i dont know if you understood me, i meant breaking it free from the lower control arm
. i really dont feel the need to take out the whole knuckle and take it to them. well im actually fixing the wheel bearing on the driver side and the lower control arm inner bushing on the passenger side

my bad. grab a hammer. pick up on the hub, and have someone hit the lca with a hammer. I do not recommend using a pickle fork or any thing that would tear the lower ball joint boot.

Is it a grinding/rubbing sound? If so, it's on it's way out.
