the jdm one is different. the front end is longer and the support compensates for that, the latch is about an inch futher foward. Just get a USDM one from a junkyard, or send me a JDM one, and I will send you a JDM one. I'm using shimmed usdm units, on both of my cars. The link bellow shows how to go such a thing because I know people are gonna ask. It also illustrates the differences a bit.

Oh yeah it is different too, basicly it is like an HF support, just a bracket to hold the bumper. Not really a support, at all. It is more rounded also, so I imagine the support is too.

as far as my set up goes the whole thing mounts different...

the support mounts to the car with brackets that are different then the u.s. setup...

the us one mounts directly to the car itself...the jdm one has somekind of a spacer bracket...also there are two little screws that attach the cover to the support...

I dont know im sure it could be done but I dont know if it'll fit right

Your as sharp as a tack...

Bump the topic up, because I'm wondering as well. I know they are different and the HF is close. I know a guy with the JDM front on his hatch that is using a HF support. But how well it bolted up is what I don't know.
