Default i hate people...any advice? (seats)

tonight i attended our highschool football game and at halftime there was a marshmellow fight in the student section (yeah, its pretty gross cause they get wet and sticky). Anyway, my friend asked if i could take him home, and when i dropped him off, there is about 4 little spots about the size of a dime of damn marshmellow on the alacantra side bolster where he was sitting (it was on his jeans)

after searching the archives, i have found that i should probably use a small steamer to clean them, and i have one at my house. just making sure this should be fine (ie. no wierd discoloration/new stains after use).

add another stain to the list. last one i remember in a thread was getting blood out of seats...now i gotta work on this crap. thanks for the help guys.

Well I don't know about the steam cleaner. But I used the 50/50, Woolite/water mix and my seat came out alot cleaner. Justr gentely scrub the affected area with a soft clotch (waxing pad is what I used) and the woolite mix. Then just rinse with another soft clean cloth ( used a terry cloth towal) and then your done.

i recommend this method over the one you're about to attempt.
the website used to have some good information about maintenance, but it's no longer there.

Listen I am and ITR owner, and I am verryryyyyyyyy miticulaus with my car and keep it super clean all the time... however I wont let a little stain or nick in the paint here or there get me down or stress me out.. its a car and it will NEVER be perfect...

so just enjoy it bro I know it sucks that it happend but expletive it... try to clean it if it dosnt come out.. dont buy new seats.

I had a rock hit and shatter my windshield 3 weeks ago.. and I just laughed and said expletive it... I got it fixed and moved on.......

but for small stuff like what your describing... I say our time with these cars that we love so much are so limited that we just need to enjoy them while we still have them.

hope that helped in some kind of moral way.

yeah, i totally understand. all of the money that has been put into the car is cleaning it up to its original 97 form. its just a bunch of replaceing worn OEM parts and such which you can expect in a car with 137000 miles.

your advice is well taken oh and i ended up getting it out

thanks for the help guys
