I couldnt find any info on this already asked and none of my friends are able to answer me.

I have done 3 mini me set ups but all have been Obd-1 to Obd-1. What do I need to put a Z6 head into a 90 HB? Thing is my friend wants it and i agreed to do the labor for 200 bucks. He has... P-28,Z6head,Z6Intake Manifold,Y8 headgasket,Z6 dizzy,Z6 T-belt.

Thing is what do i do to get dizzy to work with obd-0 motor harness?
Could I take the wires out of the OBD-0 and wire them into the Obd-1 dizzy?
Or does the Obd-0 fit?
If yes then would a Pr3 ECU be better?
Do I still Need a obd conversion harness?
Basically I need to know all that I have to do before i get my hands dirty. If its to crazy ill tell him to just wait for a swap. TY for all your info.

 

A conversion harness would be the better way to go.

If you were not, you would need a different way of controling VTEC, which will cost more than a harness conversion.

 

i have a d16z6 head running at obdo with a non vtec ecu i have the vtec hooked up to the ac fan cluch and the rom in my ecu tells it when to come on. it ghetto but it works
