Default since "bserious" wont answer me.

since "bserious" wont reply to my pm's or emails, i'm gonna ask here...would an f23 crank/rods, with type-s pistons fit into an h22a block with no problems? or would the pistons stick out of the block? i know he did something similar to this, just want to confirm.

wtf?

Use the search, we all do.

We are playing with the f22, not 23.

i did search for it, but like bserious said, it was an f22 crank and not an f23 crank...and i know he did something similar to this...so he would be the only person who would know if an f23 crank/rods would fit with no problems.

My Bad... the F23 crank will not fit in the H22a block unless it is modified to fit the mains.

my machine shop charged me 75 bucks to turn my mains down from
55mm to 50.they did and excellent job.i put all this in a 94 block.the motor
was gonna be 16:0:1 on meth...also block was sleeved.well long story short.
i sold the block and the crank and rods to get my deck plated 2.4L project
off the ground.

this crank along w/the rods and what piston you decide to use.will make a very nasty all motor set up.the tq will be crazy

i have herd that to......but i took a chance and I DID NOT HAVE ONE SINGLE PROBLEM .actually i have did 2 f23 cranks like this and right now one
has a 200 shot being put on it w/no signs of failure .keep in mind that
this is the mains we are talking about and not rods.i would never do that on the rods.

but the mains has plenty of meat so to speak.

how's your set up doing.

back in the day i built a ls/vtec stroker out of oem parts and used
a jeep bearing so that i would not have to move the thrust washers.
my story is.....that when i used this crank the mains did not needed to be turned.
but the rod journals did.YES i did have the crank heat treated.

i have a couple cranks .010"/.010" running t67s at 28psi to 9krpm for over a year now. no probs. do i recommend it if a good standard crank is available? NO. but i'm not afraid of it if it is done right, either.
you torque the mains with bearings installed and dial bore them, then hand your mic's to the crank grinder and tell him the size you want each journal ground to. same for the rods.
