Default Help!! Hit a pothole - whole bunch of damage...

Deep bastard... As a result my i have an exhaust leak between the front pipe and the header. How do i replace the gasket?
Also There is a loud clunking noise coming from left wheel and i can feel the struggling with it. Steering wheel strays straight when i let go though. Is it the bearing? Also how do i take off the assembly in the front? Any pics, graphic instructions would be higly appreciated!

Thanks

I hate MA roads! Just like the weather new potholes appear every ten minutes...

Listen Killah, before we go any furthur; put your car's year/make/model in the signature portion of your profile.
If I had this info, I could have given you some illustrations.

What side was hit?
Does the "Klunk occure only when you turn?

Default 1993 honda accord lx black/silver

Klunk occurs on the left any time I'm driving and rolling straight. Stays about the same through corners. Tried roling backwards and forward - same thing. Sound like something is being snapped and chewed over there.

I would suggest you not screw around it here asking questions and get it looked at PRONTO.
If it's rythmic (like one 'clunk' for every wheel rotation) it could be an axle. If not, it could be a strut, control arm or broken stabalizer bar bracket/bushing.
It needs to be looked at NOW

Got it fixed...very cheap and easy fix... One of the studs was loose causing the wheel to wobble and make a lot of noise. Took off the wheel and replaced the hub - $20 from junk yard.

Wow. Remind me to avoid Pot Holes when driving thru Lynn.

I understand they have MUCH better Pot Holes in Revere. You're gonna have to talk to Gov Romney and insist on those upgraded Pot Holes for Lynn.
Hey, with the Big Dig project, they should be used to throwing lots' 'o' money in big holes
