Scott, who hadn't been hating on Andy too much and then this pic showed up and I was all like "DOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH I HAAAAAAAATTTTTTE THAT ANDY HOPE!"

Technically I hate Andy vehicularly thru the internet...which isn't all that serious when you really think about it.

Scott, who doesn't hate anybody else on the internet that I can remember...and calling on that same memory for how and when I first came to hate Andy it seems to me that somebody else was hating him and it just seemed like a good idea for me to go ahead and hate him too...and I have no regrets - hating Andy has been a pleasure (he's actually a really good guy)...where was I?....Oh, yeah: and so that is why I HATE ANDY HOPE.

 

forgive me i don't read everythread in the forum...

i don't sit around all day and constantly find threads to bash omni, obx, or, rota or other asian made products. you don't get it, it's not the country of origin that matters, it's the people behind the companies. obx has not taken care of ppl and is well known for shitty service. omni has some hiccups but they have been taking care of customers. classing them the same is un-fair.

im not isolating a whole ******* country because im not so short sighted to think that the only **** coming out of a whole country is cheap aftermarket automotive parts.

do i have to mention the semiconductor and high tech industry? do i really have to go into that?

the point is that these cheap copies are coming out of subpar shops that dont care about quality and are far removed from any original engineering and design, that you get fuckups like making omnipower shocks with 2mm thick walls, and thats mainly because of the cheap labor shops that are mainly available in these countries.

those collars are CNC'ed, hardly any manual labor involved. and where they missed up on thickness, obviously sombody overlooked the CAD drawings some how. anybody with a half-a brain would recognized its is not proper sized. on a seperate note, you have no asian pride at all, how sad. as for cheap labor, that's just the reality of world economics.

and FYI, my point was these country produce high quality parts too, not just cheap aftermarket automotive parts. it all depends on which supplier you deal with, and your pricing point. you seem to imply all their autoparts suck, which isn't true.

i hate all these cars with high waist lines and tall roofs. what happen to the lovely low profile EF design?!?! arrg... some say the lot of modern design are all for the sake to increase crash protection ratings on the cars...
