can you tell if its any firmer than other bumpstops youve seen? have you ever felt other bumpstops?

The bumpstops on my JDM ITR are black. I don't recall what color they are on my USDM ITR.

Also, the are significantly harder than non-ITR bumpstops. Also #15 in your diagram, the washer that goes on top of the bumpstop, was absent when I changed the springs on the JDM ITR. The top of the ITR bumpstop feels very hard, almost like metal. I'm wondering if there is a washer molded into the bumpstop itself, which would eliminate the need for #15.

Right, there is no washer - the top and bottom of the shock bushing are metal and the shock bushings are much harder than other oem rubber - much better choice than poly bushings for that application.

yeah, im aware of the shock top hat bushings being different. i just ordered a set of 8 today which is what prompted me to look at the bumpstop. it does indeed have a metal disc as part of the rubber bushing, which makes it much stiffer than the normal one, and no need for an extra washer i suppose.

you said your bumpstop was black? really?

anyone else want to confirm either way?
