question about where to get this kind of autometer.
i have seen this video on this website and i am wondering what kind of autometer he is using. in this video he is setting his RPM launch. he has like button to push then he has to set his rpm launch then tap on his brake and then he is ready to race without trying to level the gas pedal. he could just press on the gas a no need to worry but keeping it level. can anybody help me to find out what kind system he is using so i can get me one of those. http://www.hondata.com/media/setlaunchevs_large.mov
well being that it is on the Hondata website, i would say that it is a part of the Engine mgmt syst. A tach is wiried into the distributor, and has a power lead, therefore NOT being able to control any operations of the motor, other than relaying the revs of themotor itself............if you notice he is pushing a button that was installed in one of the auxillary panel in the dash UNDER the tach........

That's part of the Hondata Stage 3 and Stage 4 ECU packages. They give you a switch to wire up to your clutch pedal and that button also. You can set your launch RPM and also you can set it up so you can do full-throttle upshifts. It's all part of the ECU.
