Ok, well try VIS: http://www.visracing.com/catal...4_230
And compare that against an OEM.

sorry jus seemed like it, sometimes on HT you ask for help & get flamed for no reason, looks like 400 bucks plus is way too much for me, (time to scour the junk yard)

VIS is one of the best brands available for CF products. Good luck.

yea reducing wight in my slow DX isnt really the issue i was just trying to see if it was going to be cheaper than about 250+ for an oem one. im going to try certifit becuase im going to need a front bumper too.
Check and see if there is a Certifit near you. They have one in Arlington and one in San Antonio for sure...
Their OEM hoods are $70.00 and fit like a glove! I was very surprised at their quality. I recently fixed my kid's 95 EX and replaced the following:
Radiator core support: $59
Bumper reinforcement bar: $11
Front left fender (Twice because someone at his school backed into it): $45 (x2)
Hood: $70
Front headlights: $35 a piece
Corner lights: $11 a piece
Front bumper cover: $35
All parts come in dipped black primer, edges are finished nicely (Not like most repops) and the body lines are crisp and correct.
So, for roughly $312 I was able to totally rebuild the front end of this car. They dont, however offer and inner sheet metal, so if you are wanting to replace the innder fender skirts, you will need a donor car.
I bought the car hit in the front end. The left frame was tweaked a little in front of the shock tower, but everything behind it was good. I used a friend's frame machine to pull it around square again, and everything lined up great. I even used a spot welding machine to reattach the core support for a factory look.
Every piece was perfect, had the proper holes and welded nuts in the right spot, and was identical to the OEM pieces.
They must have some veteran Taiwanese kids at those overseas sweat shops!
It may be worth the road trip to pick up a hood if you live a couple hours away from Arlington or San Antonio...
Only drawback.. they are not open on weekends!
