Tons of crappy information out there for a good topic... If you've got GOOD information (not just from your arm scale) please PM me and I'll add it up. If you find any of the numbers to be wrong, please also let me know that.

not to disprove what you are saying but my vis hood weighs only 16.5 pounds, i weighed it before i put it on, i have the evo hood and there is a big hole in it that might be the difference because i expect you are talking abou oem style hoods?

Whats the difference between a fiberglass hood and fiberglass hood skin? I'm guessing it doesn't have the underskeleton? Is the 7lbs one listed for the skin or the whole hood?

Edit: Answered my own question. Skin is without the skeleton. Still wondering if the 7 lbs is skin only.

I was told the MB fiberglass hood doesn't allign correctly with 92-95 civics made in canada? Does anyone know if its true?
