Default CTR pistons do-able in a b18c1???

i am thinking about buying ctr pistons for my gsr, but have heard mixed things about them in the gsr motor. can anyone give me some advice? will it be okay to run on 92 or 94 octane? will there be valve clearance issues? Any help would be great. thnx

search around.. you'll find lots of posts on pct's/b18c's.

ctr's.... imo

ran them for almost 2 years in my b18c. tuned for 93 pump gas. i just ran a cometic head gasket. made 187whp w/ 131tq on oem b18c bottom end with no port work.

tuning is your friend.

I personally prefer the P30's to the PCT's as they give you a little more room for error. The P30's have a shorter compression height and a smaller dome which reduces the compression ratio and allows for a little more valve clearance.
