Gauge help
I bought a used 01 accord coupe that the previous owner had installed white face gauges, I guess he had to take the needles off to do this, but they are not right, anyone know how to set them right again?
It's gonna be a "hail Mary" if he (indeed) took the needles off, but I may have a suggestion.
Remove cluster to gain access:
Remove cluster bezel (clear plastic front)
Leave cluster plugged into car harness
Car cold, hasn't been driven yet for the day:
One at a time:
1) select a gauge and remove the associated needle.
2) turn on the ignition switch. Gauges will 'zero' themselves.
3) re-install needle pointing to zero.
4) repeat as needed
It's probably the only way, short of buying a new cluster.
