Hi, we are doing a swap from a 1990 b18a to a 1998 b18b in my brother's DA. We kept the b18a manifold, distributor, injectors, etc.
We ran into a little trouble with two of the sensors on the back of the block though. I only have a crappy chiltons manual and I can't seem to find them in it. The sensors seem to be in different locations on the b18 block. They are right by the oil filter. There is three right next to it. One is for the oil light which we know
and then there is one that had a rubber boot over it, it has two d shaped prongs for a connector (We don't know if this stays in the back of the block or not), and then finally there is one that has two flat prongs inside of a green housing (I have been told that this moves to the 98 water neck).
The problem is that there are only two holes on the back of the 98 block for sensors. One I know is for the oil pressure sensor. I was told that one of them moves to the water neck but wanted to make sure and plus the guy that told me this didn't remember which one. If anyone did this swap and remembers please let me know.
