don't feel bad about not having the aux lights.. they don't help a damn bit. they use the same type of bulbs as your blinkers. nobody makes projectors... i use a set of superwhite (not superblue) headlight bulbs and those helped a little (got rid of the dull yellowish tint to the light.) the biggest improvement was a set of piaa 1000's. maybe try one of those hid kits.. i've never used one or seen one in action.. but the factory hid's on my IS300 kick a$$!!!!
well if your talking about your headlamps having a haze over them (from age) there is a way to clear it up . Using a polishing compound (for paint) treat your headlights with it , and later use regular polish to maintain them . If it isn't a lens problem then definitly upgrade to PIAA's the bulbs I got have a blue tint to them but at night they look more Hyper White then Ion Blue .
my friend has a phillips HID kit on his toyota 4runner. it looks amazing. i think he paid around 400 for it. its like the dam sun is in his headlights. it really is awsome but its a little expensive for some lights if u ask me. but ifu got the cash laying around i would say go for it. its definitly gonna make a hell of an improvement.
You could do this if you chose to go with a pre-96 front end... Its not a headlight replacement per se' but its quite effective for higher-speed night driving.

PIAA 910 110w pencil beams.
Turns night into day. These do not have a cut off so its not a good idea to use them in traffic. A bit of fab work necessary, and patience in aiming. Altogether worth it though.
