While I was working on my car today some guy came up to me and started asking questions about what i was working. I've been out in my parking lot for the last few days working on different stuff... different parking spot each time.

He asked if it was an integra. then said that he likes them cause they are fast.

Then asked if i was broke down. (he has seen me move my car a lot.)

he's seen my out side many times working on my car and never said a word.

should I be worried about this?

P.S. he saw the vtec on the valve cover and said that it was nice. that's something i've been trying to hide. even by removing the "DOHC vtec" badge off the back of the car.

and I just paraniod about my car being stolen?

I'd keep an eye on him and on your car. Sounds sketchy.

doesnt sound like he would even know how to start the car to me.

just a fan of the integras.
you should keep an eye on your teg regardless of who asks about it.

most people who steal the integras to gut them. know what they are.

 

Yeah, all you really can do is watch the car and him, hope nothing bad happens, if you don't have a club, get one.

my grandma is 98 and she knows what an integra is...........

UPDATE: the car next to mine was broken into (green civic, stock) Lastnight. :-) this is the second time in two months this poor girls car was broken into to. They entered the same way as before. bash out rear quater panel window. Wonder if it was the same person from before. the odd thing was there was nothing to steal this time, she never replaced the stuff from last time.

I'm going to set up a camera looking out the window facing the parking lot to record to my computer at night... this is getting too sketchy.

That's what I was thinking.

I have a factory alarm with starter kill built in. And I have a fuel pump kill switch (that's what I was working on that night). I hid what i was doing from him, told him i was hardwiring my radar detector.

that sounds good to me I am the same way. I would be cautious, and if all else fails get a hand gun carry permit and let that mother ****** know who is boss.
