J/K, Johns work is top notch. I ran 12.78@109 at Pomona in Street Stock trim (2365lbs, Radial tires, Unleaded fuel) two weeks ago with his header, catalyst, resonator, and muffler intact. This was a 2.0L (89x85) 'B' series engine.

Going to test fit it on my B16B engine currently in the car. Looks like I will be removing the engine splash guard and cutting a notch on the bumper. Also may need to replace the stock radiator fan to a FAL fan which is thinner. O2 bungs look like they will be right under the stock radiator fan shroud.

Neither can I.
Just waiting for the Endyn Breather kit and Z10 breather box plug. Finishing up on degreeing the cam. Should be in soon after the holiday season, hopefully sooner, but you know how the holidays are especially with wife and kids.
Well thanks for you comments, much appreciated.

Glad someone was able to get products from him. I waited for over 6 months to get an exhaust from him, and he never delivered. I would call, email, still, no exhaust.... He may do good work, but he has poor business skills, but I guess he doesn't care since he can regulate supply to drive price....

Understeer owned me in the rain and I went straight into a curb. Also, my car is like 3 inches off the ground.
I guess a dented header is better than a wrecked front end. I was about a foot away from a light pole.

^^^^^ that one is a 4-2-1 and the one that DEMNTED1 has is a 4-1.Big difference.
Looks like John found out what works the best.

I have great communication with John. I just sent him a email and already received a reply. Well sorry you are going through this, can't really believe it, just because I received my product and was in contact with him very often. I waited a bit over 5 months to receive.

Yes, I remember you. Not sure if you remember me, but I was asking about the headers in June and you posted a pic of your header on the motor befor it was on the ground. See below.

I guess mine is the newer design. But I am sure both designs rock. I like the megaphone end, looks better than my straight pipe.
Clean as engine bay and great numbers.

Actually it is built for 2.0L. I am upgrading to 2.0L next year, going to start a new build probably in mid 2006, so John G. recommended that I get the 2.0L headers.
The end of your headers are at about the end of the tranny. That would put it right under the unibody frame close to the torque mounts. Is there another section or is that it?
Did you cut a hole on the side of the bumper? Any pics of it?
The straight pipe on mine is pretty long so i can cut it to the bumper length. Probably will need to protect the bumper from the heat also.
Piping size is 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 to 2 inch
