Default OFF TOPIC - 97 accord......pulleys

What's up members!!!
Man... I'm having a hard time trying to find some pulleys for my car, because I don't want the shitty underdrive ones.... ....so far... I think unorthodox is the only brand that I know that makes stock size lightened pulleys. Problem is the price... **** son.... is like 350 or something like that for 3 pulleys.
Does any one know I place that sells unorthodox pulleys (OEM size) for a better price?

Also... anyone has installed the pulleys (...stock diameter light weight) here at H-T??? Let me know how the car drives with them installed.....

I've just bought MSD igniton package with 8.5 wires and modified distribuitor cap and coil 2 blaster, and after that... I want the pulleys!!!

Any post, I really appreciate.....

BTW... I said "off topic"... haters, keep away!!!

now dont get so offensive, plenty of people out there get the best deals from ebay, hell my best friend bought his AWD turbo eagle talon off of ebay for 4500, its a beautiful car, and i know that companies also sell on ebay, but when your ordering things like that from real people, you gotta make sure you check on their feedback from previous sells, some people do run into problems on ebay, i never said it was the wrong way to go, i just told him to be careful, wouldnt you?

I always check and spend a least 5 minutes reading feedback from buyers.
All the things I've installed in my car were bought at ebay... so... I mean.. I really don't take ebay as a crappy shopping.
The thing is... maaann..... I need a stock diameter crank pulley... and unorthodox and a few places that advertise here at HT carry the same price of 170 for the crank pulle, and 350 for all 3 pulleys.

Well, thanks for the posts so far. But I am still waiting to see someone that has them installed in their accords telling me how much difference they got when driving the car.
It is not just a performance upgrade to my car, but it could also improve the gas mileage, even running with AC on. Of course I am not considering pulleys just for gas mileage, but that sure got my attention.

Anyway.... members... please post your ideas!

Thanks a lot!!!

my idea: don't waste your money. $350 for PULLEYS?!?! you're out of your mind. that's 1/2 way to a nitrous setup, which will actually give you gains you will feel.

One of the things I am far away from considering in my car is a nitrous system or a turbo kit. I want NA all the way.
I want the car to drive quickly, smooth and not be a gas killer. But I feel you when you said "1/2 way to a nitrous system", because I believe most people trying to get horsepower would consider that instead of adding light weight pulleys!

My idea:
1)All 3 pulleys, no underdrive crank.
2)Aluminum flywheel and Stage 2 cluth system from ACT
3)...maybe do what some people said "regrind" on the camshaft and get a cam gear.
4)Port and Polished head, bored and polished throtle and throtle spacer.
5)enjoy the car for a few months and decide what's next!!!

My question:
Does anyone know any other brand that makes a crank pulley other than unorthodox? If yes, please... don't be shy and let me know.... ..thanks!!!

I was reading the description of the pulleys from unorthodox and some customers "testimonials".
The crank pulley (light weight) could increase 15% of my actual horsepower.
And I read about this one guy saying it helped his car on gas, specially on the highway.
Another one said it was the best upgrade in his car since he could actually feel a big difference!

I am getting a port and polished probably this december, when my friend (..hommie is a little mechanic now...) comes to south florida to spend a couple of weeks. It is going to be free, since we used to work on each other's car all the time.... ...we never really charged each other... and... I will fix some dents and scratches on his car... probably be getting a paint job he wants so much while he does that to my car!
