ive had a aem cold air intake on my car for a little over a year now, ive noticed that when colder weather comes and i go to start my car it idles at about 1500 rpm's. The highest it should be at is around 700 when in park. Is this normal for it to do this? I also notice that after the car warms up it goes into its normal range but i wasnt sure if there was anything worng with it or whatever. Also i would like to keep the intake i have even after i get a new engine, will a aem cold air made for a f22 fit an h22 swap? SOMEONE ANSWER ME PLEASE!?
and yes your intake will work fine. idont know if the throttle body is the same size on those engines but they prob are close enough and if not a differant connector hose may be neccecary but the intake for both those engines would be the same size so yeah use it

awsome man thanks! i dont know if u saw the other topic i wrote about but, when i swap the f22 for the h22 i kinda want to supercharge it and then go low compression so i can crank the boost, sound like a plan? tell me what ya think!
sounds like a cool plan although i would consider a turbo for that car. But first you should get the swap done and enjoy the engine stock. Lowering the compression is going to require tearing that engine down and buying new pistons in addition to the charger. Also engine management will be somthing that must be dealt with and all of these things cost $$$. Especially if you are new to this and need someone to perform labor. So i would say rock that h22 stock for awhile what a great motor!

yea i was thinkin maybe turbo...but i didnt wanna deal with all the ecu managment things and hours on a dyno to get the timing right where i want it...but who knows. i'd still probably go low compression either way just to do it right. I would like to be able to crank the boost and get some real numbers out of it. My little f22 just really isnt cutting it for me anymore, it goes pretty fast but not where i'd like it to be.
