Has anybody done this before? Instead of using a regular B16 mission, it would obviously complicate things (driveshafts, shift rods, mounts?). Also, how would that half shaft thing work?

Any advice or need to know/need to have items?

all b-series transmissions are interchangeable..so you can run a GSR/LS/ITR tranny on a b16a motor. vice versa

 

Thanks for the quick reply. So there are holes on the B16 block for the half shaft? Forgive me, it's actually been a while since I've been able to take a look somewhere with my own eyes. My car or engine is not near me at the moment.
